Margaret Ispahanyan, 95, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2022. Born July 27, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Dickran and Mariam Proodian; and the beloved wife of Agop "Jack" Ispahanyan, who she married in 1957.

Margaret graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1945. She began working at the Carborundum Company during World War II as the payroll systems specialist. On her retirement in April of 1990, "An Ode to Margaret" was presented to her. "Anniversaries and birthdays are not at all alike forty-five years old would only be a tyke but forty-five at Carbo I think you will agree is something very special that very few will see."

Margaret was a longtime member of St. Hagop's Armenian Apostolic Church and the Ladies Guild. She was also a member of Lucia Chapter of the Armenian Relief Society and served in various positions throughout the organization.

An avid reader she was steadfast in visiting the sick and elderly, always ready and willing to help. She also loved spending time with her family.

Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Agop and her sister, Rosa Nubarian. She is survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to Margaret's funeral service on Saturday, May 7 at 10:00 AM in St. Hagop's Armenian Apostolic Church, 322 Ninth St, Niagara Falls, NY 14303.
