Margaret A. (Candella) Perriman, 90, passed away on Monday April 5, 2010 at Fairchild Manor Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Amato) Candella.

Margaret was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area and attended local schools. On July 3, 1946 she married Gerald Perriman in Kansas. Mr. Perriman predeceased her on June 2, 2009. During World War II she worked at Bell Aircraft in Wheatfield, NY. She went on to own and operate the former Christy's Lunch on Pine Avenue and later Aunt Margie's Restaurant also on Pine Avenue in Niagara Falls until her retirement in 1976. Margaret was a member of the Sacred Heart Church prayer group. She was an excellent cook, and enjoyed sewing and music. Most of all, Margaret will be remembered as a devoted grandmother whose home was always open to anyone in need.

Mrs. Perriman is survived by four daughters, Joyce (Norman) Wynes of North Carolina; Susan (Frank) Paynter, Gail (Marco) Napolitano and Mary (Anthony) Leone all of Niagara Falls, NY; eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, one brother Joseph (Terry) Candella of Niagara Falls, NY and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by five brothers and three sisters, Alfred (Joanne of Niagara Falls, NY) Candella, Charles (Mary of Niagara Falls, NY) Candella, Anthony (late Cora) Candella, Samuel (late Hazel) Candella, John (late Rose) Candella, Edith Candella, Grace (late Pat) Gentile and Mary (late Joseph) Carafice.

There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday April 10th at 10:00 a.m. in Divine Mercy Parish, 2437 Niagara Street Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Jacek Mazur officiating. EVERYONE WILL ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Entombment will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
