Margaret B. (Sikkas) Beaver, 97, of Niagara Falls, wife of the late Lauren J. Beaver, passed away at her residence on February 12, 2019 under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born in Remsen, IA, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Gertrude (Eiling) Sikkas.

Mrs. Beaver came to Niagara Falls in 1942 and was employed by Carborundum in Wheatfield for twenty-seven years. Margaret was a member of the Alumni and Travel Club, the St. John's DeLaSalle Club, Reunited Seniors Club and St. Vincent DePaul Parish at Prince of Peace Church for thirty-Eight years where she served on the Altar Rosary Society.

Margaret is survived by her children, Patricia (Robert) Colosi and Allen Beaver; four grandchildren, Rob (Gloria) Beaver, Scott (Laurie) Beaver, Theresa (Rose) Colosi Marcantonio, Katie (Tarl) Vaillancourt; five great- grandchildren, Cyndal (James) Young, Justin and Miranda Beaver, Desiriee Perna and Hayden Colosi Marcantonio; two great-great grandchildren, , Madison Beaver and Reagan Young. Sister-in-law, Jean (late Bernard) Sikkas as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two sons, Robert Beaver and Gary Beaver, as well as by three sisters and four brothers.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3 – 7 P.M. at M.J COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304. Margaret's Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Friday, February 15 ^th at 10:00 A.M.  at St. Vincent de Paul Parish at Prince of Peace Church, 1055 N. Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.
