Margaret V. "Peggy" Masters, 84, of Lewiston, NY passed away Sunday May 27th, 2012 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Born in Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Trunzo) Tate.

Peggy graduated from Trott Vocational High School in Niagara Falls, NY. On May 24, 1952 she married Paul P. Masters in St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Peggy and Paul owned and operated Holiday Motel in Niagara Falls, NY until they retired to Lewiston in 1986. Together, they remained active through their involvement in numerous roles with Opportunities Unlimited in Niagara County.

In addition to her husband of sixty years, she is survived by two children Paulette A. Masters of Lockport, NY and John J. Masters of New Paltz, NY; a sister Dorothy (Leonard) Gravino of Niagara Falls, NY, a brother Nicholas (Annette) Tate of Niagara Falls, NY, and many nieces,nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister Anna Mae (late Earl C.) LaRocca.

Visitation will be Wednesday 4 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY RD. NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Thursday May 31, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. Peter Church, 620 Center St. Lewiston, NY with Rev. Michael Zuffoletto officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
