Margie L. (Stephens) LoStracco, 75, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at her residence while under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Andalusia, AL she was the daughter of the late Alex and Gladys (Cawley) Stephens.

Margie came to the Niagara Falls area with her family in 1953 and attended local schools. She was employed as an activities coordinator at St. Mary's Nursing Home in Niagara Falls, NY until retiring in 1994. On April 5, 1997 she married Remo LoStracco at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls. Mr. LoStracco predeceased her on February 22, 2013. Margie was a longtime parishioner of St. Joseph Church. In her leisure time, she enjoyed traveling, coin collecting and playing Bocce.

Margie is survived by her three children, Diane Ammons of Greenville, AL; Nita (late David) Ducette of Niagara Falls, NY and Betty (Gordon) Grover of Galeton, PA; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; her sister Wanda (late Joseph) Chonka of Athens, AL as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by four siblings, Ernest Stephens, Joseph Wayne Stephens, Geraldine Stephens and J.D. Stephens.

Visitation will be held on Friday June 19th from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin at 11:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Stewart Lindsay, O.S.F.S. officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Niagara Hospice, Inc., 4675 Sunset Dr. Lockport, NY 14094.
