Maria Ann Candella, 73, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away August 29, 2021 after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late John and Rose (Paonessa) Candella.

Maria was a retired teacher of the Grand Island School District.

She is survived by her brother, James (Barbara) Candella of Rochester, NY; and nieces, Lt. Col. Melissa Candella Holt (Col. Dennis Holt) USAF, of San Antonio, TX, and Capt. Erin Candella Atkins (Capt. Nick Atkins) USAF of Misawa, Japan; her great-niece, Samantha; and great-nephews, Grayson and Sawyer Holt. Also survived by many cousins and friends.
