Maria 'Mary' A. (Boniello) Chille, 100, of Lewiston, NY, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Thursday December 17, 2009 surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, NY. Born in New York City, NY, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Elizabeth (Principe) Boniello.

Grandma Meme, as she had become affectionately known as, came to Niagara Falls, NY as a child with her family and attended local schools. On July 20, 1925, she married Joseph Chille at St. Joseph's Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Chille predeceased her on June 24, 1985. Never working outside of her home, Mary took great pride in being a homemaker and dedicated her life to being a good wife and mother and later assisting with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the former Century Club and the former Xenia Ladies Club both in Niagara Falls.

Mrs. Chille is survived by two sons, Albert J. (late Mary Ann) Chille and Ralph A. (Ezita) Chille both of Niagara Falls, NY, her "adopted son" Nicholas Minicucci of Lewiston, NY, seven grandchildren, Joseph (Corinna) Chille, Michael (Sheila) Chille, Elizabeth (Christopher) Cappuccilli, Annmarie (Albert) LaMorticella, Maria (Steve) Zafuto, Jr., Christine (Robert) Crooks and Ralph A. Chille, Jr.; fourteen great-grandchildren, Joseph and Justine Chille, Joelle, Michael and Madison Chille, Christopher, Anthony and Abigail Cappuccilli, Allina and Marreana LaMorticella, Stephen and Olivia Zafuto, Courtney and Kyle Crooks, dear family friend and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by one great-granddaughter Ammari LaMorticella, two brothers, Ralph (late Dorothea) Boniello Jr., Louis (late Julia) Boniello, and two sisters, Helen (late Victor) Soluri and Rose (late Nicholas) DiCamillo.

Friends may call on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday December 21st at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph's Church 1413 Pine Avenue Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Duane Klizek officiating. EVERYONE WILL ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Entombment will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence, 5285 Lewiston Road Lewiston, NY 14092.
