Maria Czarny, 86, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 14 ^th , 2017 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Wheatfield, NY. Born in Lubin, Poland, she was the daughter of the late Marion and Jadwiga Stazka.

Maria married her loving husband, Zygmunt Seczkowski, in Poland and moved to the United States with her family. She was a devout Catholic and faithful member of St. Vincent De Paul Parish. In her leisure time, she enjoyed reading, sewing and tending to her garden.

Mrs. Czarny is survived by her two children, Bozena (Jack) Vail and Danuta (Robert) Brunea; one sister Halina (late Junek) Rogozinska; as well as many friends and family in Poland. In addition to her husband, she was also predeceased by her brother Henry (late Mary) Stazka.

Visitation will be on Saturday, March 18 ^th from 1 – 3 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, where funeral services will follow at 3 P.M. Interment in Nassau Knolls Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorial offerings may be made to St. Vincent De Paul Parish, 1055 N Military Rd, Niagara Falls, NY.
