Maria DelSignore, 80, of Grand Island, NY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 16, 2022. Born in Supino, Italy, during World War II, she was the daughter of the late Eugenio and Rosa (Agostini) Marchioni.

Maria moved to Niagara Falls with her family as a child and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. In 1963, she married her beloved husband, Frank A. DelSignore, Sr. at St. Joseph's Church.

Maria owned and operated Maria's Hallmark on Grand Island for over 30 years. Following her retirement, she enjoyed volunteering at GJ Mann Elementary School, where "Aunt Maria's Reading Refuge" was dedicated in 2021.  Maria loved spending time with her family and friends, and especially loved going to the theater, hiking and walking. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed traveling.

Maria was predeceased by her husband, Frank in 2004. She is survived by her children, Frank Jr. (Patricia), David, Michael (April) and Marla (Niall Majury); her grandchildren, Darren, Jenna, Mallory, Emily, Nate, Anna and Leo; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Maria was predeceased by her siblings Guerrino, Santina and Anthony (Liliana).

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 22 from 3 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Maria's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 9:30 AM in St. Stephen's Church, 2100 Baseline Road, Grand Island, NY. Interment will be held privately in St. Stephen's Cemetery.
