Maria V. Panaro, 71, of West Seneca, NY passed away February 21, 2025 at Fiddlers Green Manor in Springville, NY. Born in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Michele (Ruffino) Panaro.

Maria enjoyed reading, watching the Buffalo Bills and General Hospital soap opera, as well as having a hot cup of coffee. Above all, she treasured spending time with her family.

Maria was sadly predeceased by the love of her life, John Surma, who passed away on August 15, 2023. She is survived by her daughter, Eden M. (Nicholas) Hovey; her grandsons, Logan and Lucas Hovey; her devoted sister Michele (William Coughlin) Panaro and her niece Shawna Dipalma (DeSabio).
