Marie R. (Nastasi) Apolito, 99, of Lockport, NY, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Friday, November 11, 2016 at Eastern Niagara Hospital in Lockport, NY. Born in Clymer, PA she was the daughter of the late Santo and Francesca (Formica) Nastasi.

Marie came to Niagara Falls as a child with her family. She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. During the 1950's she worked at the New York Style Shoppe boutique and later as a pharmacy technician at various local pharmacies. On October 12, 1967, she married Harry N. Apolito and following her marriage she moved to Lockport. Mr. Apolito predeceased her on April 13, 1993. Marie enjoyed gardening, playing bridge and traveling.

Marie is survived by two nieces Gloria Piccoli and Ethel Juliano, her special friends in Lockport, NY, many great nieces, great nephews in California and Las Vegas and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers Joseph Nastasi and Nicholas Nastasi and one niece Frances Minicucci.

There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday November 22 at 10 a.m. in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. M.J.
