Marie L. Cimino, 86, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 20, 2020 in O.L.P Nursing Care Residence. Born in Gagliano Aterno, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Jennie (Sandonato) Salciccioli.

Marie married her beloved husband, Nicholas J. Cimino, Sr. in St. Joseph Church on July 18, 1953. They spent 53 memorable years together until his passing on March 16, 2006.

Marie graduated from Niagara Falls High School.  She enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, and spending many hours in her later years on Facebook. Marie thoroughly enjoyed her family and friends and there wasn't a day that went by that her front door wasn't opened, coffee on, and something good to eat in the kitchen. Many folks have passed through her door over all of her married life, and nobody left hungry.

Mrs. Cimino is survived by her children, Joseph (Diane) Cimino, Anthony (Tricia) Cimino, Maria Cimino, Michael (Jennette) Cimino and was predeceased by her son, Nicholas J. Cimino, Jr and her brother, Anthony (Karen) Salciccioli.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Angela (Kyle) Rookey, Nicholas Cimino III, Natalie (Marco) Soffritti, Bradley (Tiffany) Cimino, Jenna Cimino, Julia Cimino, Luciana Perri, Antonio Cimino, and Isabella Cimino; and her great-grandchildren, Noah Rookey, Luca Soffritti, Roman Soffritti, Sebastian Soffritti, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to her dearest Sister-in-Law Karen Salciccioli who has been by all of our sides for many years, as well as to the front-line workers at Our Lady of Peace for all that they do on a daily basis - especially during this pandemic - to try and help the residents such as Marie.

There will be no prior visitation. Marie's Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 10 AM at Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.
