Marie L. (Sirianni) Colemon, 82 of Lewiston, NY formerly of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Friday July 2, 2010 in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Michael and Carmella (Carpinella) Sirianni.

Marie was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area. She attended St. Joseph's School and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. On October 19, 1957, she married Harry L. Colemon in St. Joseph's Church in Niagara Falls. Mr. Colemon predeceased her on May 15, 1970. For over twenty years, Marie worked as a secretary at E.I. DuPont Co. in Niagara Falls until her retirement.

Marie was a former member of St. Joseph's and St. Leo's Church in Niagara Falls. She was an active volunteer for many Church groups and food shelters, and was especially devoted and charitable to Fatima Shrine and St. Jude's Research Hospital. Marie enjoyed attending religious retreats, musical events that her son Jim preformed at and basket auctions. In her leisure time, she also enjoyed reading, knitting, playing cards and going to the casino. Marie took great pleasure in spending time with her family and preparing fabulous Italian dishes for them, especially her famous meatballs.

Mrs. Colemon is survived by her four children, James Colemon of Buffalo, NY, Gerald Colemon of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Nancy Colemon of Glendale, AZ and David Colemon of Lantana, FL, two grandchildren, Kaitlyn Colemon and Kara Colemon, one sister Jean (late Robert) Mathieson of Lewiston, NY, he aunt Mary Sirianni of Niagara Falls, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI AND SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY ROAD NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Tuesday July 6th at 11:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph's Church 1413 Pine Avenue Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Duane Klizek officiating. Interment will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery Niagara Falls, NY.
