Marie A. DeFelice, 90, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2022 at Buffalo General Hospital.  She was the daughter of the late Theodore and Maria (Morreale) DeFelice.

Marie was a 1950 graduate of Niagara Falls High School. She was employed at M&T Bank in Niagara Falls for 35 years, where she retired as Assistant Branch Manager.  She was also employed at S'dao Furniture from 1950 until 1992. Marie was a member of the Cristoforo Colombo Society Ladies Auxiliary, a former Socialite, a volunteer at the John Duke Senior Center, and a member of Holy Family Parish and the Madonna del Soccorso Society. A devout Catholic, Marie attended daily mass at Mt. Carmel Church.

Marie was the beloved matriarch of her family, who she cherished greatly and was deeply devoted to.  Marie also had many dear friends she considered family. She will forever be remembered for her kind, generous heart and loving spirit.

Marie is survived by her sister, Diana (John) Ciavaglia; her nieces and nephews, Denise (Cort) Williams, John (Robbin) Ciavaglia, Maria (Mark) Tollner, Paul (Shelia) DeFelice, Mark (Kristin) DeFelice, Karen (Lewis) Meyers, and Cynthia (Scott) Auker.  She was the cherished great aunt of 19 great-nieces and great-nephews, and is survived by many cousins. Marie was preceded in death by her brother, Clement (late Carol) DeFelice.

Per Marie's wishes, there will be no prior visitation.  Marie's Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 8, at 10:30 AM at Holy Family Parish at Mt. Carmel Church, corner of 27 ^th and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14301. Please assemble at church.  Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.  Memorial offerings may be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Restoration Fund, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14301.  Arrangements by M.J.
