Marie R. Galbo, 86, passed away on July 22, 2020 at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Verlotte) Cafaro.  On June 21, 1975, she married Samuel J. Galbo, who predeceased her on January 14, 2008.

Marie was employed at Kresge's and Neisser's Department Stores in her younger years.  She was a member of the Cristoforo Colombo Ladies Society for over 40 years. She frequented Mike's Marketside Restaurant daily, no matter the weather outside.

Marie is survived by her niece and caregiver, Victoria Dattilo, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her siblings, Ruby Perry, Teresa Mauro, Jane Dattilo, Anne Doherty and Nick Cafaro.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 27 from 10 – 11 AM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY where funeral services will begin at 11 AM.  Due to current circumstances, social distancing and masks will be required to adhere with current regulations.
