Marie I. Marcolini, 88, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Niagara Hospice House. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Adriano and Cescira (Cianforino) DelRe; and beloved wife of Louis J. Marcolini, who she married on October 18, 1952 at St. Joseph Church.

Marie was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, where she attended local schools and graduated from the former St. Mary's High School. She began working at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and later at the Gold Circle Store in the jewelry department prior to her retirement from Jenss Department Store. She was an avid bowler and reader.  She also enjoyed baking and making ceramics.

In addition to her husband of 66 years, Marie is survived by her daughter, Anita (Joseph) Gugino and was predeceased by her son Michael Marcolini. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Nicolina, Teressa and Joseph Michael Gugino; one sister Delia (late Michael) Merk, as well as many nieces and nephews. Marie was predeceased by her siblings Victoria (late Joseph) Capocetti and Zeke DelRe.

Funeral services will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 16 ^th at 11:30 A.M. in Gate of Heaven Mausoleum at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 500 Riverdale Avenue, Lewiston, NY, with entombment to follow.
