Marie S. (Sierakowski) Mocny, 81, formerly of Eggertsville, NY, died Friday September 10, 2010 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, NY and is now reunited with her beloved husband of 57 years, the late Ralph F. Mocny. Born in Buffalo, NY she was the daughter of the late Michael and Gertrude (Zamrok) Sierakowski.

Mrs. Mocny was an active parishioner at St. Benedict's Church in Amherst, NY and was former president and active member of the Consolata Mission Guild in Williamsville, NY. In her leisure, Marie enjoyed travelling.

Marie was the dear mother of Roger A. (Beverly J.) Mocny of Tonawanda, NY, Linda M. Mocny of Niagara Falls, NY, and Nancy C. (Thomas P.) Wozniak of Briarcliff Manor, NY. She was the proud and loving grandma of Brian (Michelle) Mocny, Reva Wolski, Keith Wozniak, and Kristina Wozniak. Marie was so happy to be the great-grandma of Cameron and Ethan Mocny and Joshua Wolski. She was the sister of the late Alice (late Robert) Idziak and the late Janet (late Romuald) Boruszewski and sister-in-law of Josephine (late Gerald) Mocny and Audrey (Joseph) Rubino; also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends Thursday 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY RD NIAGARA FALLS, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday September 17th at 9:30 a.m. at St. Benedict Church, 1317 Eggert Rd at Main St, Amherst. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH.
