Marie R. (Patruno) Rodgers, 92, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, NY. Born in Pocono Summit, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Patruno.

Marie was raised and educated in Pennsylvania. She moved to the Niagara Falls area following her marriage, and worked as a beautician for local hair salons. During her spare time Marie enjoyed knitting.

Mrs. Rodgers was predeceased by her husband Carl R. Rodgers in 1960. She is survived by her two sons, Donald M. Rodgers of Niagara Falls, NY and C. Russell (Nancy) Rodgers of Pocono Summit, PA, a granddaughter Kelsey Rodgers and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Marie was also predeceased by a grandson, Carl R. Rodgers III, two brothers, and one sister.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 17th from 5 – 8 PM at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY RD. NIAGARA FALLS, NY where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Private interment will take place in Oakwood Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
