Marie A. (Ocejo) Trane, 78 of Lewiston, NY passed away on Sunday September 5, 2010 in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Gonzalez) Ocejo.

Teenie, as she was affectionately known to her many friends and family, attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. Marie was devoted to her family, especially her three boys. Yet she was always willing to share her wonderful warmth with others, including customers and co-workers at DiCamillo Bakery in Lewiston, where she worked for 22 years, until retiring last year. In her younger years, Marie also worked as a clerk at Grant's Department Store, Loeffler Beauty Supply, and owned and operated JT's Restaurant located in the Niagara Falls City Market.

As someone who always put others first, Marie was admired by all who knew her. She had a passion for cooking and enjoyed preparing meals and trying new recipes for her family. Even the hummingbirds were frequent visitors to her kitchen window knowing they'd be fed. Always an avid bookworm, she fell under the mystical spell of Harry Potter and was kept supplied with each new book in the series by her sons. She never missed an episode of the "Survivor" TV series. A Miami Dolphins fan, Marie enjoyed ribbing local Buffalo Bills supporters. She also enjoyed her visits to the casino.

Marie will be loved and forever missed by her husband of fifty seven years, James F. Trane, Retired, N.F.F.D., her two sons, Mark (Peggy Mikula) Trane, N.F.F.D., of Lewiston, NY and Robert (Kathy) Trane, Retired, N.F.F.D., of Niagara Falls, NY, two grandchildren, Michael Trane, Mark (Kelly) Trane, three great-grandchildren, Joshua, Emily and Sammy Trane, one brother Joseph (Patricia) Ocejo, Retired, N.F.F.D., of Lewiston, NY, her uncle Paul Gonzalez, her lifelong friend Patty Hargrave and many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by her son James Trane and brother James Ocejo.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at M.J. COLUCCI AND SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY ROAD NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Friday September 10th at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Duane Klizek officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery Niagara Falls, NY.
