Marie (Morigi) Zuccari, 95, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away Saturday December 19, 2009 while under hospice care in Valencia, California, where she had resided since 1995. Born and educated in Gary, IN she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Ernestina Morigi. In 1937, she married Louis Zuccari and they moved to Niagara Falls, NY to raise their family. Mr. Zuccari predeceased her in 1988.

Together with her husband, Mrs. Zuccari operated Zuccari Brothers Dairy outlet at 22nd St. and Grand Ave. in Niagara Falls, NY for many years. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and was active with many of the church's ladies organizations. She played violin and piano and was skilled at crochet needlework. Most of all, Marie enjoyed cooking for her family and planning meals and holiday celebrations for them.

Mrs. Zuccari is survived by her four children, Richard (Letty) Zuccari, Frances (Art) Gallo, and Peter (Jerri Lynn) Zuccari, all of California and Ronald (Marie) Zuccari of Bergholz, NY; eight grandchildren, Maria (Peter) Steele of Las Vegas, NV, Rosanna (Douglas) Monteleone of Lewiston, NY, Richard Zuccari of California, Elizabeth (Samuel) Buck of Bergholz, NY, Felicia (Dale) Kelsch of Sanborn, NY, Diana (Marc) Gasparre, Louis Zuccari and Jenna Zuccari, all of California; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her brother and two sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held in California. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass to be celebrated on Saturday January 9, 2010 at 1:00 PM at St. Vincent de Paul Parish at Prince of Peace Church, 1055 N.
