Marino "Marty" P. Felice, 74, of Lewiston, NY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of the late Anthony Joseph and Marie Francis (Felicetti) Felice.

Marty graduated from Bishop Duffy High School in 1961 where he was a 3 star athelete. He excelled in baseball, basketball and football earning him a tryout with the Boston Red Sox and a football scholarship with Colorado State University. In recognition of his athletic accomplishment, he was inducted into the Bishop Duffy Hall of Fame in 2011.

On November 20, 1965, Marty married his loving wife, Joette (Armeli) Felice, at the former Our Lady of the Rosary Church and spent over 50 beautiful years together. He was employed as an electrician by the IBEW Local #237 Union where he was a 50 year plus member in good standing, serving one term as Vice President, and later retiring1999. Marty was a former volunteer firefighter with the Lewiston Upper Mountain Fire Department.

Marty and his wife moved to Florida in 2004, where they enjoyed golfing and lounging by the pool. They recently came back to Lewiston in the Spring of 2016 to be closer to friends and family. In Marty's leisure time, he enjoyed vacationing with his wife and their friends throughout Europe, Mexico and the United States. He was also an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the Fighting Irish. Above all, Marty enjoyed spending time with his family, especially during the holidays.

In addition to his wife, Marty is survived by his two sons, David (Cynthia) Felice and Donald (Heathre Litz) Felice; "Poppie" will be sadly missed by granddaughters, Alexi Nicole Felice, Carolyn (Nick) Halliday and Amy Galbraith. Marty was predeceased by one grandson Matthew James Galbraith. He is also survived by his great-granchildren Preston Rainville, Ava Halliday, Kylee Halliday and R.J. Lively; also survived by father-in-law Sam Armeli; brother-in-law James Armeli; sister-in-law Nancy Armeli as well as many dear nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by mother-in-law Dorris Armeli.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 1st from 3 – 8 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 2nd at 11:00 A.M. at St. Peter's Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston, NY 14092. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery. Marty was a heart transplant recipient in 2004. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Cleveland Clinic, 9500 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio, 44195.
