Marion Jean (Lehmann) Abrams, formerly of the Town of Lockport, NY died on Sunday October 4, 2009 at Newfane Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Jean as she was known to family and friends was born in Buffalo, NY the daughter of the late Frederick and Winifred (Newpert) Lehmann and grew up in Williamsville. On January 19, 1950 she married Harold R. Abrams in Easton, MD, and together resided in Cheektowaga, NY until moving to the Pendleton area in 1957. Mr. Abrams predeceased her on July 11, 2002. Marion enjoyed reading, keeping journals and writing about her memoirs.

Mrs. Abrams is survived by five children, Marilyn (Brian) Gadigian of Ransomville, NY; Sally (Gary) Beaver of Rochester, NY; John (Barbara) Abrams of Parkland, FL; Linda Abrams of Mechanicsville, VA; Christopher (April) Abrams of Denver, CO and was predeceased by one daughter Carol Abrams. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Charles Gadigian, Alexis (Shannon) Rutty, Shawn Abrams, Darah Abrams and Matthew Abrams, two great-grandchildren, Shayna Rutty and Brenden Rutty; one sister Elinor R. Lehmann of Williamsville, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services and interment in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY will be held at the convenience of the family.
