Marirose Marra, 63, of Lewiston, NY, died on Friday, July 26, 2019 at Saint Mary's Hospital, surrounded by her daughters and family.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the beloved daughter of the late Charles R. Marra and Eleanor M. (DiPaulo) Marra.

Marirose grew up in Niagara Falls on 97th Street, attended local schools and graduated from Madonna High School. She married Thomas J. Ferlito of Niagara Falls, moved abroad to Naples, Italy, where they resided for two years during Thomas's time in the United States Navy.  Her first-born daughter, Aliscia Marie, was born in Naples, Italy. They all returned home to Niagara Falls, NY after Thomas's Navy duty was completed. Their second daughter Nicole Lynn, was born in Lewiston, NY.

Marirose worked from the age of seven for her father, uncles, and her brother at their family owned and operated business including Biagio's Quality Inn, Gateway Tour and Travel, where she worked as a travel consultant, C&C Convenience and Liquors Store, Rich Products, and Omega Travel. While working, Marirose returned to college to earn her Bachelor of Science Degree from Empire State College in Business Administration. In August 2018, she retired from Ultramar Travel Company.

Marirose was devoted to her family. She wanted nothing more than to spend time laughing, telling stories, cooking, traveling, and praying with the people she loved so much. She enjoyed golfing, playing cards, driving to Niagara on the Lake, Ellicottville, praying the rosary, going for walks and spending time with her friends. She passed on her strong Catholic faith to her children and grandchildren by living her life as an example of Christ. She found the good in every person and situation. This was her greatest gift to her family.

She is survived by two children, Aliscia (Richard) Krecisz of Lewiston, Nicole Ferlito (Jay Hamilton) of Niagara Falls. Two grandchildren Izabella and Sofia Krecisz. Two brothers Chuck (Karen) Marra of Niagara Falls and Peter (Donna Litto) Marra.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother Carmen Marra.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday, July 31 ^st from 4 – 8 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY.  Marirose's Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10:00 A.M. in St. Peter's Church 620 Center Street Lewiston, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH, Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls.
