Loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother

Marjorie L.Grano (Stoner), 82, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Friday March 12, 2010 at Schoellkopf Health Care Facility in Niagara Falls, NY. Born in Stanford, Ontario, Canada she was the daughter of the late Warren and Doris (Miskin) Stoner.

On September 23, 1950 she married Frank J. Grano in her house in Niagara Falls, Ontario and shortly after came to Niagara Falls, NY where she lived until the present time. Marjorie and Frank would have celebrated their 60th anniversary this September. Her favorite pastimes including knitting and traveling. But most of all Marjorie was devoted to raising her family as well as being devoted to her faith.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Grano is survived by four children Frank M. (Lynn) Grano of Buffalo, NY; Barbara L. (Donald) Wittenhagen of Indiana; James W. (Theresa) Grano of California and Joseph A.(Tina) Grano of Florida; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, two sisters Ruth Stoner of Niagara Falls, Ontario and Barbara Hughes of New Jersey and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Sunday March 14th at 1:30 p.m. in the Community of Christ, 5235 Lewiston Road, Lewiston, NY. Interment at the convenience of the family will be in Fairview Cemetery, Niagara Falls, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Arrangements by M.J.
