Mark S. Clark, Sr., 61, of Niagara Falls, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2016 after a long illness. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of Dorothy (Drayer) Clark of Niagara Falls and the late Harry Clark.
Mark graduated from LaSalle High School in 1973 and received his Associate's Degree from Niagara County Community College. On September 6, 1975, he married Donna "Mary" (Gromniak) Clark at the First Baptist Church. Mark worked at several local companies including Great Lakes Carbon, Oxy-Durez, Niacet and most recently Olin Corporation as a Supervisor.
Mark's passions included fishing, Harley Davidson motorcycles and he also enjoyed target shooting. Above all, Mark enjoyed spending time with his family, his many friends, his children, grandchildren, and his beautiful wife of 40 years.
In addition to his wife and mother, Mark is survived by his children Mark (Cindy) Clark, Jr., Jason (Jessica) Clark, Sara (Ian) Carr, Dana(Chris) Shoff; grandchildren Kevin, Brianna, Ian Jr., Ayden, Christopher Jr., Luca, Cara and Desiree. He is also survived by his sister Mandi Clark; by his nieces and nephews Mark (Lynette) Jr., Alisa (Jose), Ryan, Sean II, Donald, Kaile and Nick; one great nephew Stone, mother-in-law Sara (late Stanley) Gromniak, and his sisters-in-law Deborah (Mark) Boesken and Paulette (Sean) Donoughe. He will also be greatly missed by his grand-dog Harley, as well as many friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 19th from 3 – 8 P.M. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, where funeral services will follow at 8:00 P.M. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
