Mark A. Emanuele, 46, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on December 21, 2013 surrounded by his loving and caring family, friends as well as the staff at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Buffalo, NY after a lengthy illness.

Mark was born in Niagara Falls, NY and graduated from LaSalle High School in 1985. He served in the United States Air Force for ten years until his honorable discharge on May 23, 1994. During his time of duty, he trained at the Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas where he achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. Following his training, he was stationed in the Philippines where he served as a Military Police Officer. After his discharge, Mark moved to Florida and was employed by the Winter Haven Police Department from November 1, 1995 to September 18, 1998, where he was a successful Police Officer, and member of their Sniper K-9 Unit and Undercover team. In 1998, Mark moved back to the Niagara Falls area where he currently resided. He was a member of the LaSalle Sportsmen's Club Rifle Team and won New York State Champion two years in a row. He was also an above avid hunter and sportsman.

Mark is survived by his father, Michael M. Emanuele; brother, Kevin M. Emanuele; sister, Jennifer B. Emanuele all of Niagara Falls, NY and Brenda Wolf of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be no prior visitation. Private services with Military Honors will be held at the convenience of the family.
