Mark A. Marchetti, age 66, of Grand Island, NY, and formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family under the compassionate care of Buffalo Hospice on April 12, 2025.

Born and raised in Niagara Falls, Mark was the son of the late Angelo and Rose (Huber) Marchetti. In 1980, Mark married the love of his life, Margaret (Mietlicki) Marchetti, at the former St. Stanislaus Church in Niagara Falls.
A graduate of Trott Vocational High School, Mark co-owned and operated MMR Construction (formerly Monteleone & Marchetti) for many years before his retirement. He was a hardworking man with a passion for life. His greatest joys included riding his Harley Davidson, shooting pool and playing darts with his buddies.

Above all, Mark adored his family. His grandsons, Mason and Mark Avery, brought him happiness as he cherished every moment spent with them.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his four children, Regina Marchetti, Deanna Marchetti, Victoria Marchetti and Mark Angelo (Katelin) Marchetti; his grandchildren, Mason Kinney and Mark Avery Marchetti; his brother Anthony (Jeannie) Rodgers, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister, Sandra (late Mark) Leaming and his brother James (Sarah) Rodgers.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 15 from 3 – 7 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin Wednesday, April 16 at 11:15 AM, followed by Mark's Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon in Prince of Peace Church, 1055 N.
