Mark T. McCollum, Sr., 61 of Niagara Falls, NY died on Wednesday September 14, 2011 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of Helen M. (Pollock) McCollum of Niagara Falls, NY and the late Clyde B. "Sonny" McCollum.

Mark attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. He was employed with the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local #129 in Niagara Falls, NY and later the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local #22 in Cheektowaga, NY and worked at various constructions sites. Mark was a member of the Steamfitters Local Union and the National Rifle Association. His favorite pastimes included hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and playing cards but above all Mark enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his children, grandchildren and his brother who was also his best friend.

In addition to his mother, Mark is survived by three sons Mark T. (Regina) McCollum, Jr. of Statesville, NC; Benjamin T. McCollum and Jason M. (Jisset) McCollum both of Charlotte, NC; three grandchildren Mark T. III, Joseph P. and Rhianna; one brother Greg (Josephine) McCollum of Niagara Falls, NY; his niece Jeanette (Keith) Fulton and their daughters as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

There will be no prior visitation. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
