Mark E. Place, 50, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on February 7, 2025.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of Georgette L. Coty and the late Edward Place.

Mark graduated from High School.  He worked at various factories as well as Frenchy's Pizza and Ventry's Pizza in Niagara Falls, where he cooked and baked.  He was currently employed at Thermo Fisher in Grand Island as a material handler.  Mark loved pets including his black cat, Boyz.  He enjoyed fishing, Clint Eastwood and 80's and 90's movies.

Mark also was a huge Beatles fan and, as an avid concert goer, enjoyed live music.
Mark was a proud man; he was an amazing father that loved his family and always was helping and lending a hand to people. Mark will be remembered most for his infectious laugh, kindness, respectful nature, generosity and love of life.  His personality was larger than life itself, and he will not soon be forgotten.

In addition to his mother, Mark is survived by his daughter, Tyira (Matthew Owens) Place; siblings, Sue (late Chris) Young and Jason (Melanie) Place; his nephews, Nick Zaker, Aiden Place and Xander Place, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22 from 2 – 4 PM at M.J.
