Martha A. (Sarkees) Geiser, 75, of Lewiston, NY passed away on Thursday January 14, 2010 at her residence under the care of Niagara Hospice and her family. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late John and Victoria (Mattar) Sarkees.

Martha was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area. She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. On October 28, 1967 she married Raymond A. Geiser at Our Lady of Lebanon Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Geiser predeceased her on February 12, 1992. She was employed as a bank teller and bookkeeper at Marine Midland Bank in Niagara Falls. Martha was a devoted mother and enjoyed spending time with her family, and will be remembered for her care and devotion to her family.

Mrs. Geiser is survived by three children Lona M. (Thomas) Lachiusa of Amherst, NY; Raymond J. Geiser and David G. (Kelly) Geiser both of Tonawanda, NY; one sister Amelia (Blase) Nicolia of Lewiston, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call on Sunday from 2 – 6 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Monday January 18th at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Peter's Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston, NY with Rev. Sebastian Pierro officiating. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Niagara Hospice Inc., 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
