Mary A. Benvenuti, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Friday September 23, 2011 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Rachel (Guido) Benvenuti.

Mary was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY and lived on the same street for her entire life. She worked at the former Chisholm-Ryder in Niagara Falls, NY and later in the food service department of Niagara University and at The Corner Shop in N.F. Memorial Medical Center. Mary was family oriented and a very kind-hearted, outgoing, loving person and everyone loved her. She especially enjoyed baking and cooking for her family, and loved to travel, especially to Italy. She was a special human being and will be missed by everyone who came to know her.

Mary is survived by four sisters Dina (late Thomas) Freidhof, Rita (late Joseph) Sarro both of Niagara Falls, NY; Norma (late William) Haluska of St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada; Linda (David) Pavicich of the Town of Niagara, NY; and step-mother Anna Benvenuti. She was predeceased by one brother Vincent "Jim" (Rose of Niagara Falls, NY) Benvenuti. She was also the aunt of Mark Sarro and Lisa Sarro-Morgan, Diana (Freidhof) Ward, Thomas and David Freidhof, Larry, Pat, and Marianne Benvenuti, Rachel (Benvenuti) Denitto, as well as several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. And her 3 doll babies Augusta Rose, Joey and Alexis Morgan.


Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 – 6 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Monday September 26th at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Stewart Lindsay, O.S.F.S. officiating. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice or to St. Joseph's Church.
