Mary G. Berds, 93, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away Saturday February 18, 2012 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Cinncinati, Iowa she was the daughter of the late John and Rose (Penzeca) Enzinna.

Mary came to Niagara Falls, NY as a child with her family and attended local schools. She was a longtime member of the former St. Teresa's Church, currently St. Raphael's Parish where she married John B. "Bud" Berds in 1938. She was also a longtime member of the Italian Mother's club in Niagara Falls. Mary enjoyed cooking and crocheting but above all enjoyed spending time with her loving family.

Mary was predeceased by her husband John B. Berds in 1984 and her son John A. (Patricia of Niagara Falls, NY) Berds. Mary is survived by her two granddaughters, Barbara (Norman) Barry of Niagara Falls, NY and Lori (John) Anthony of Grand Island, NY; four great-grandchildren Stephen (Danielle) DePalma III , Eddy Barry, Jordan Anthony and Jack Anthony; one great-great-grandson Stephan DePalma IV; three step-grandchildren, Wendy (Kirk) Orr, Lisa Mesler, and Vicki Mesler. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mary was predeceased by her five siblings, Josephine Gonzales, Tony Enzinna, Russell Enzinna, Samuel Enzinna, and Laura Enzinna.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday February 21, 2012 at 10:00 AM in St. Raphael's Parish, 3840 Macklem Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY, with Rev. Ivan Skenderovic officiating. Interment will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. Memorial offerings may be made to
