AUNT MARY

Mary A. Capilupi, 92, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on February 19, 2016 at Schoellkopf Health Care Facility. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Achille and Assunta (Pullano) Capilupi.

Mary was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, and attended local schools. She was employed at Nabisco Shredded Wheat in Niagara Falls as a seamstress for 43 years, and retired in 1985. Mary was a lifelong and devoted member of St. Joseph's Church. She was an avid reader, and also enjoyed sewing and tending to her flowers garden. Above all, Mary enjoyed spending time with her family.

Ms. Capilupi is survived by her brother Nicholas (Tina) Capilupi, her niece and nephews whom she help raise, Susan McDougall, Michael Moses and James (Christine) Moses, as well as several other nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by her sisters and brothers, Frances (late Romeo) Pugliese, Flora and Lena Capilupi, Palma (late James) Moses, Joseph (late Eileen) Capilupi and Mario (late Gloria) Capilupi.

Visitation will be on Monday from 4-8 P.M. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. in Holy Family Parish of St. Joseph's Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery.
