Loving Mother and Grandmother

Mary (Bonaro) Chick, 80, of Niagara Falls, New York passed away on Friday October 16, 2009 in Millard Fillmore Gates Circle Hospital, Buffalo, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Angelina (Venneri) Bonaro.

Mary was raised and educated in Niagara Falls, NY. Her husband the late Leo Chick predeceased her in 1969. Mary worked for several businesses in the Niagara Falls area as a secretary, and was highly regarded for her knowledge in her field. Some notable places of employment were Hysens Supply's, Every Woman's Opportunity and Niagara University. Mary retired in 2008. In her spare time, Mary enjoyed going to the casino, gardening and playing with her dog Lilly. Mary's greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially during the holidays.

Mrs. Chick is survived by her two children, Joseph Chick of Cuba, NY and Donna (Bill) Little of Niagara Falls, NY. She was predeceased by one son, Richard (Harriet of Niagara Falls, NY) Chick. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Michelle (Dan) Lickers; Ryan Pasisz, Paul (Lorna) Chick and Joseph (Debbie) Chick, seven great-grandchildren, a brother-in-law Fred Rannelli of California, and special friend Jack Beckage of Niagara Falls, NY. Mary also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 11:00 am in St. Vincent de Paul Parish at Prince of Peace Church 1055 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Burial will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery Niagara Falls, NY at the convenience of the family. Memorials can be made to Niagara Hospice Inc. 4675 Sunset Dr. Lockport, NY 14094. Arrangements by M.J.
