Obituary

Mary Ann (Perry) Chille, 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday May 26, 2009. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Marie (Bourque) Perry.

Mary Ann, a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area, attended local schools including the former Sacred Heart School and the former St. Mary's High School. She also attended Erie County Community College in Buffalo, NY where she earned an Associate Degree in Industrial Chemistry. On June 14, 1952 she married Albert J. Chille at Sacred Heart Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Mary Ann worked at the former Oldbury Chemical Company in Niagara Falls, NY for two years before raising her family. She later co-owned the Sincerely Yours Hallmark Card Shop in Niagara Falls, NY. In her leisure time she enjoyed drawing, painting and cooking but mostly, Mary Ann's life was centered around her family.

In addition to her husband of fifty six years, Mrs. Chille is survived by four children Joseph Chille of North Tonawanda, NY; Michael (Sheila) Chille of Niagara Falls, NY; Elizabeth (Christopher) Cappuccilli and Annmarie (Albert) LaMorticella both of the Town of Niagara; ten grandchildren; Joseph and Justine Chille, Joelle, Michael II and Maddison Chille, Christopher II, Anthony and Abigail Cappuccilli, Allina and Marreana LaMorticella, and was predeceased by one granddaughter Ammari LaMorticella. She is also survived by one sister Helen Louise (late James) Reid of Lewiston, NY; her mother-in-law Mary (late Joseph) Chille of Lewiston, NY; one brother-in-law Ralph (Ezita) Chille, her cousin Peggy Ann Stirling, several nieces, nephews, cousins and her dear friends Sallie Brown, Bertha Harris and Alma James.

Friends may call on Thursday from 3 – 8 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday May 29th at 10 a.m. in St. Vincent DePaul Parish at St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Private entombment will be held in St. Joseph Mausoleum Niagara Falls, NY. Memorial donations may be made to Niagara Hospice, Inc. 4675 Sunset Drive Lockport, NY 14094 or to Niagara County SPCA 2100 Lockport Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.
