Mary A. Colosi, 86, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on May 29, 2019 at Our Lady of Peace Health Care Facility in Lewiston, NY.   Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Nicolina (Cellanti) Pizzuti.

Mary was raised in Niagara Falls, attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School.  On October 26, 1957, she married Nicholas J. Colosi, Sr. at Sacred Heart Church.  Mr. Colosi predeceased her on November 30, 2000.  Mary was a member of the Volare Lodge.  She enjoyed to travel with her husband and had a great passion for the ocean.  In addition, she enjoyed to cook.

Mary is survived by her children, Claudia (Jan) Deuro, and Nicholas J. (Melissa) Colosi, Jr.; her grandchildren, Nicholas (Randi) Deuro, Justin (Christine) Deuro, Christopher 'C.J.' (Jenn) Deuro, Nicholas Colosi, III and Hunter Colosi, as well as her sisters, Lucy Macaulay and Helen (late Frank) Bilotta.  Survivors also include several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mary's family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the Nurses and Aides of 1 West and 2 East at Our Lady of Peace.  The compassion and kindness shown to Mary and our family will never be forgotten.

There will be no prior visitation.  Private interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY, will be held at the convenience of the family.  Memorial offerings may be made to the Niagara County SPCA, 2100 Lockport Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.  Arrangements by M.J.
