Mary Jane (Montanari) Corsaro, 84 of Lewiston, NY passed away on Saturday April 9, 2016 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Diego and Mary (Sepielli) Montanari.

Mary Jane attended local Niagara Falls schools and graduated from Niagara Falls high School in 1950. On April 14, 1951, she married Richard Corsaro in St. Joseph's Church. For several years, Mary Jane worked for Consolidated Bowling in Niagara Falls. Mary Jane and her husband Richard were active volunteers at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital, Art Park, Shea's Performing Art Center and the Kavinoky Theatre. She was a longtime member of St. Peter's Church in Lewiston, and member of the former 'Escarpment Belles'. Mary Jane was a fabulous cook and in her leisure time enjoyed crocheting. Above all, she was devoted to her family and especially adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her beloved husband of near 65 years, she is survived by her three sons, Richard R. (Christine L.) Corsaro of Pompton Lakes, NJ, Gary J. (Dawn M.) Corsaro of Niagara Falls and Robert J. (Lori S.) Corsaro of the Town of Niagara, her grandchildren, Richard C. (Adina) Corsaro, Danielle L. (Francis) Nugent, Gary J. Corsaro, Jr., Ryan K. (Megan L.) Corsaro, Robert (Kari) Corsaro, Jr. Amber (Adam) Walck, Alisha Corsaro, Devon Strasburg and Nicole Corsaro, her great-grandchildren, Lillian D. and Sophia M. Corsaro, James F., Ryan R., Emma J. and Katie L. Nugent, Chloe L. and Ava L. Corsaro, Robert J. III, Abigail J. and Adri-Anna Corsaro, Brody M. Walck, one brother, Richard (Nancy) Montanari of Niagara Falls, one aunt Edith Colucci and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by one brother Dominic (late Margaret) Montanari.

Mrs. Corsaro's family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to Mt. St. Mary's Hospital, physicians, nurses and staff of the ICU and 5th Floor, as well as members of the food service department for their compassion and support.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 – 8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Peter's RC Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston, NY with Msgr. David LiPuma officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of Mary Jane may be made to a charity of one's choice.
