Mary L. (Paonessa) Distefano, 99, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Louis E. and Teresa (Posca) Paonessa; and beloved wife of the late Vincent "Jim" A. Distefano whom she married on August 21, 1948.

Mary is survived by her daughters Susan (late Martin) Violante and Judith Distefano Casero, and was predeceased by her infant son, Gregory Distefano. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Susan (Randon) Augustino, Anthony (Kristen) Casero, Natalie (James) Perry, Mia (Justin) Tedesco, Maria (Christopher) Tybor and Marten Violante; and her great-grandchildren, Calabria, Carmela, Avery, Brooklyn, Enzo, Luna, Gino, Gemma, Luca and Callen.
