Mary A. (Paolini) Faieta, 81, of the Town of Niagara, passed away on January 21st, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her family. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Emilio and Yolanda (DeMartle) Paolini.
Mary was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls. She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. On January 31, 1953 she married Albert 'Al' B. Faieta at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Faieta predeceased her on August 4, 2011.
Mary was a co-owner and operator of Cataract Travel Planners in Niagara Falls and also worked at Niagara Frontier Travel. Mary was a longtime member of St. Leo's Church in the Town of Niagara. She enjoyed cooking and traveling to Italy with husband. Above all, Mary's greatest pleasure in life was spending time with her family, friends and dogs, Cosmo, Gambit and Louie.
Mary is survived by two children, Victoria (Jose Colon) Faieta and Christopher Faieta; two grandchildren, Nina Brainard and Francesca Brainard; one brother, Donald (Patricia) Paolini; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by three brothers, Joseph Paolini, Dennis Paolini and Anthony Paolini.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:30 - 12:30 P.M. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, where funeral services will begin at 12:30 P.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 P.M. at St. Vincent DePaul Parish at St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. Memorial donations to National Kidney Foundation.
