Mary Jeanne Fischer, 62, of Lewiston, NY passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Born in Buffalo, NY she was the daughter of the late John and Mary E. (Kilcoyne) Jackson.
Jeanne as she was known by her family and friends was employed as Assistant Director of Facilities for the University at Buffalo until her retirement in 2010. She loved to travel, read and play the piano; and just recently she took up the game of golf.
Jeanne was predeceased by her first husband Michael Broderick in 2002. She is survived by her husband William Fischer, three children Mathew Broderick, Emily Broderick and Laura Broderick; two step children Nicole (Chris) Swallen and Kent (Kathy) Fischer; her step grandchildren Jack, Carsen, Nick and Jake; four sisters Margaret (Caryl) Wobig, Ann Marie (John) Wodnick, Mary Angela Ketry and Susan (David Paschke) Jackson and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by her sister Mary Elizabeth Breen.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 2nd from 3 – 8 p.m. at the
