Mary Paula (Leone) Ganci, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family, under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born on January 7, 1936, in Niagara Falls she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Lena (Moscati) Leone.

Mary Paula attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High. On August 3, 1957, she married Joseph Ganci in Sacred Heart Church, Niagara Falls. Mr. Ganci predeceased her on December 3, 2009.  Mary Paula and her husband co-owned Ganci Pizzeria in Niagara Falls.

Mary Paula is survived by four daughters, Mary Jo (Ganci) (Rodney) Lasut, Diane Ganci, Frances Ganci and Michele (Ganci) Pelligrino (Brian). She was a loving Nana to her grandchildren, Nicole Lasut-Campbell, Ashley (Derek) Kirkendall, Marcus Ganci-Rotella (Jaimie), Joseph (Courtney) Pelligrino, Justine Pelligrino and Jonathan Pelligrino (Mary); great-grandchildren, Jaden, Ava, Emily, Jacob, Miley, Kendall, Brooklynn and Angelo; sister in law of Miriam Leone; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary Paula was predeceased by her loving big brother Daniel Leone, Sr. and her lifetime friends Shirley Lucatra and Carol Brandon.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday, January 2 ^nd from 4 – 8 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Parish at Prince of Peace Church 1055 North Military Road Niagara Falls.
