Mary R. Giantomosso, 82 of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Friday February 4, 2011 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Gregory and Margaret (Felicetti) Giantomosso and step-daughter of the late Evelyn Giantomosso.

Mary graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1947 and afterwards attended Bryant and Stratton Business Institute. From 1952 until 1954 she was employed at the former Vanadium Corporation in Niagara Falls. In July of 1956, Mary began a 30 year career with the United States Department of Defense, accounting department. She worked two years in Pleasanton, CA, until returning to the Niagara Falls area where she spent fourteen years at the Niagara Falls Air Base, and fourteen years at the Veteran Affairs office in Buffalo until her retirement in December 1986. Mary was a longtime member of St. Joseph's Church Madonna Del Perpetuo Soccorso Society. In her leisure time she also enjoyed traveling, reading and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Mary was also predeceased by an infant brother Salvatore Giantomosso. She is survived by several cousins.

There will be no prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday February 9th at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph's Church, 1413 Pine Ave. Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Stewart Lindsay O.S.F.S. officiating. EVERYONE WILL ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Interment will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery Niagara Falls, NY at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by M.J.
