Mary E. Grizanti, 91, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on March 18, 2020 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.  Born in Lima, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Frank F. and Helene (Werner) Schroeder.

On August 31, 1948, Mary married Anthony J. Grizanti, Sr. at St. Joseph's Church in Niagara Falls, NY.  Mr. Grizanti predeceased her on January 16, 1999.  Along with her husband, she was the co-founder and co-proprietor of Grizanti Music Company Inc, where they served Niagara Falls for over 43 years.  Mary was a member of the Notables, the Rainbow Singers, Buffalo Schola Cantorum, Berkshire Choral Institute, and the Opera Buffs of Western New York.  She loved drawing, enjoyed doll making and collecting, reading, and gardening. Most all, her family meant everything to her and she cherished the time spent with them.

Mary is survived by her children, Anthony J. (Judith) Grizanti, Francis J. (Jennifer May) Grizanti, Stephen M. Grizanti, and Diana V. (Steven) Loeb; seven grandchildren, Virginia A. (Dominick) Madonna, Christina E. (Micheil) Burgos, Anthony J. (Amber) Grizanti, III, Michael F. Grizanti, Cassandra E. (Christopher) Bigouette, Julia M. Grizanti, and Amelia L. Loeb; nine great-grandchildren, Alicia, Dominick Jr., Marissa, Michael, Anthony IV, Charlotte, Harper, Lillian, and Rosalie, her former daughter-in-law, Gigi Grizanti, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Due to current circumstances, the family has chosen to forgo visitation and will hold a Celebration of Life at a future date to be announced.  Private funeral services and interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY will be held for the immediate family.  If desired, memorial offerings in Mary's honor may be made to the Chautauqua Institution, 1 Ames Ave, Chautauqua, NY 14722, or the Niagara County SPCA, 2100 Lockport Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
