Mary K. (Callaghan) Linn, 84, of the Town of
Niagara, NY, went home to be with the Lord on
Saturday, October 4, 2014, while under the care of
Niagara Hospice. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she
was the daughter of the late Charles Thomas and
Ellen Maude (Styles) Callaghan.
Mary was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls
area and attended local schools. Mary began her
working career as a banquet server at the former
Crown and Anchor Restaurant on Pine Avenue in
Niagara Falls, and afterwards worked in sales for
Sears and Roebuck Co. Mary enjoyed traveling.
She also had a love for cats, especially her cat Moo
Moo, but most of all will be remembered for
generosity towards others and countless charities.
Mary was predeceased by her husband, Robert
Haigh on October 3, 1977, and later husband,
Dr. John Linn on September 12, 2000.
She is survived by her daughter, Robin (Rick Rogers)
Haigh of Niagara Falls, NY and was predeceased
by a daughter, Kathleen Gubala Haigh. She is also
survived by her grandchildren, Maria Taibi, Alexis
Mundy, Melanie Brendonhoff, Elaina Wile and Nicole Wile; greatgrandsons, Javonni Arroyo and Angelo Scavo;
four step-children; her nephews, William (Becky) Reynolds
and Robert Reynolds; dear friend, Sally Phillips, as well as
several other nieces and nephews. She was also
predeceased by one sister and three brothers.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 3-7 PM at the
M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL
CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY,
where funeral services will be held on Wednesday,
October 8th at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Daniel Piazza
officiating. Entombment will be held at the
convenience of the family in Memorial Park
Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
