Mary Olivieri, a 70 year resident of Grand Island, NY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at the age of 96. Born in 1928 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the cherished daughter of the late Yesae 'Isaiah' and Baziar (Yeremian) Mashoian, and the beloved wife of the late Bernard P. Olivieri.

Mary graduated from Niagara Falls High School and began working at Moore Business Forms. After her marriage in 1954 to Bernie, she became a devoted homemaker and family-oriented woman who dedicated herself to caring for her husband and their three sons. A talented cook and baker, Mary also had a profound love for the outdoors, wildlife and especially enjoyed birdwatching.

Mary is survived by her sons, Paul Olivieri, Peter Olivieri and Daniel Olivieri, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was predeceased by her siblings, Margaret (Mashoian) Gay, Roxanne (Mashoian) Geerin and Michael Mashoian.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 3 – 6:30 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304, where prayer services will begin at 6:30 PM with Deacon Albert Amato officiating. Mary's funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 600 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington, ON L7T 1S9, Canada.
