Mary R. Ryan, 100, of Livonia, NY, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on May 28, 2026 at Conesus Lake Nursing Home in Livonia, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Rose (Chiazzese) Morganti.

On June 26, 1948, she married William G. Ryan at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Ryan predeceased her on June 5, 2016. Mary was employed in production at the former Nabisco Shredded Wheat for 15 years until retiring in 1986. She was a devoted wife and mother, and a long-time parishioner of Prince of Peace Church. Mary was a wonderful cook and baker, and also enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her large family.

Mary is survived by her son, William Ryan; and her grandchildren, Lisa Clifton and Paul Clifton, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Marilyn (Harry) Ryan-Clifton, and her siblings, Charles Morganti, Carmen (late Josephine) Morganti, Phillip (late Dorothea) Morganti, Samuel (late Viola) Morganti, James (late Lou) Morganti, Diego “Dick” Morganti, Joseph Morganti, Anthony (late Beatrice) Morganti, Clara (late Carl) Mayhue, Carmella (late William) Archbold, Vera (late John) MacDonald, and Rose (late Anthony) Lore.

Committal services will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 1 PM in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 3806 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.
