Mary Teresa Radogna Garbutt, 89 of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Friday October 1, 2010 in Schoellkopf Health Care Facility in Niagara Falls, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Nicola and Rosaria (Marinelli) Radogna.

Mary Teresa was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls. She attended local schools including Niagara Fall High School where she received a Regents Diploma with high honors. On December 26, 1962, she married Thomas R. Garbutt. He predeceased her on February 14, 2009. For over seventy years, Mary Teresa worked as a legal secretary in Niagara Falls and was a Notary Public. For the past twenty years, she was employed by Bernard E. Stack, Esq.

Mrs. Garbutt is survived by a step-daughter Deborah Maines of Rootstown, OH, her nieces and nephews, Mark Holzle of Silver Spring, MD, Catherine (Douglas) Holzle Caresse of Derwood, MD, Roy Holzle of Silver Spring, MD, Monica Holzle of Clarksburg, MD, two great-nieces Mariana Caresse and Domenica Caresse and several cousins. She was also predeceased by one sister Mary (late Alvin) Radogna Holzle.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 6-9 p.m. at M.J. COLUCCI AND SON NIAGARA FUNERALCHAPEL 2730 MILITARY ROAD NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Tuesday October 5th at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph's Church, 1413 Pine Avenue Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Duane Klizek officiating. Interment will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery Niagara Falls, NY.
