Mary (Leo) Mayflower Reid, 98, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Wednesday November 28, 2012 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA she was the daughter of the late Charles and Angeline (White) Leo.

Mary, affectionately known as Grandma and MaMa Cheech, enjoyed cooking, especially at her son's restaurant the former Sandbar in Niagara Falls, NY. Mary's greatest pleasure was spending time with her family.

Mary was predeceased by her husband Bernard Mayflower on May 27, 1949 and by her second husband William Reid on August 17, 1975. She is survived by five children Charles "Che Che" (Rebecca) Mayflower, Bernard "Babe" (Ida) Mayflower, Patricia (Donald) Paolini all of Niagara Falls, NY; Marcia (Sam) Marino of LasVegas, NV and Charlotte "Chickie" (Patrick) Quenzel of Niagara Falls, NY; ten grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her best friend and sister Mae Aughtman. Mary was predeceased by one sister Josephine Gabriele and seven brothers James Leo, August Leo, Anthony Leo, Harry Leo, Louis Leo, Charles Leo and Rocco (Patricia of Niagara Falls, NY) Leo.

Visitation will be on Friday from 3 – 8 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will be held on Saturday December 1st at 10 a.m. with Rev. Stewart Lindsay, O.S.F.S. officiating. Interment in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
