Mary (Nocera) Volpe 86 of Williamsville, NY formerly of Niagara Falls, NY died on Thursday January 8, 2009 at St. Francis Home in Williamsville, NY. Born in Perth Amboy, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Dolores Nocera.

Mary moved to the Niagara Falls area from New Jersey in the 1940's. For thirty years she was employed at the former Kimberly Clark Corporation in Niagara Falls, NY. She was a long time member of St. Joseph's Church in Niagara Falls. After her retirement she enjoyed volunteering at local hospitals and visiting her family in the Trenton, NJ area.

Mrs. Volpe was predeceased by her husband Samuel J. Colosi on June 10, 1974 and later husband Earl F. Volpe on December 6, 1984. She is survived by one brother Vincent Nocera of Princeton, NJ as well as several nieces and nephews in the Trenton, NJ area. She was also predeceased by one sister and two brothers; Marvin Nocera, Fay Guarnieri and Pasquale Nocera.

Friends may call on Sunday from 1-3 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI AND SON FUNERAL CHAPEL 468 19TH STREET NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Monday January 12th at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church 1413 Pine Avenue Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. William Allegretto C.M. officiating. Interment will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery Niagara Falls, NY.
