Maryann Pacifico, 71, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at N.F. Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Mary (Pavone) Manucci.
Maryann attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1961. She worked as a book keeper and assisted in all facets of her family's restaurants including The Original Honey's. Maryann was a former member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, where she made her sacraments. She was also a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Cristoforo Colombo Society in Niagara Falls.
Maryann was an avid Elvis fan and also enjoyed cooking, as well as ceramic work in her younger years. Above all, she was a devoted mother who centered her life around her loving son, Larry.
In addition to her son, Larry Pacifico (Kim Pacifico) of Niagara Falls, NY, she is also survived by one step-grandchild Krysty (Michael) Nash; five great-grandchildren; two sisters Elinor (Eqidio "Gino") Filice, Rena Manucci, and her godchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and many good friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th from 4 – 8 P.M. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Family and friends are invited to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at Mt. Carmel Church, 27th and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
